51 13 305 Removing and installing / replacing left or right roof railing

Necessary preliminary tasks:

NOTE: Graphic shown in cross-section.

Release upper self-locking nuts (1). Tightening torque 51 13 5AZ.

Installation: Replace self-locking nut (1).

Remove roof railing (1) in direction of arrow.

Installation: Seals on roof railing (1) must not be damaged.
