51 71 406 Removing and installing/replacing rear spoiler

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Partially lower rear headlining (from B-pillar) and support. See 51 44 011 Removing and installing or replacing roofliner (with slide/tilt sunroof)  or 51 44 011 Removing and installing or replacing roofliner (with slide/tilt sunroof) .

Slacken top nuts (1). Tightening torque 51 71 10AZ.

Carefully lift out rear spoiler (1) in upward direction.

Installation:  Seals around retaining bolt must not be damaged.
