51 11 300 Removing and installing/replacing center cover

Special tools required:

00 9 325 . See MAINTENANCE AND GENERAL INFORMATION - SPECIAL TOOLS -- S CLUBMAN .

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage! Tape off bumper in working area with adhesive tape.

Remove cover (2) at latch mechanisms (1) in lower area using special tool 00 9 325. Pull cover (2) at bottom slightly forwards and manually remove upper latch mechanisms (1). Remove cover (2).

Installation note: Latch mechanisms (1) on cover (2) must not be damaged. First thread out the cover (2) to the side.

Replacement: Modify ornamental grille.
