51 11 164 Removing and installing/replacing trim for bumper trim on left or right

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 322  . See MAINTENANCE AND GENERAL INFORMATION - SPECIAL TOOLS -- S CLUBMAN .

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove holder for license plate  

Unclip trim (1) with special tool 00 9 322.

Installation: 

Catches (1) and guides (2) on trim (3) must not be damaged.

Replacement: 

• If necessary, fit or modify trim ring (1)
