51 71 000 Removing and installing/replacing seal on front door, left or right: Notes

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove cover on door window frame (inner). Refer to 51 32 160 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING HOUSING COVER ON INNER LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR WINDOW FRAME .
Release door brake from door pillar. Refer to 51 21... RELEASING DOOR RETAINER FROM LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR .

NOTE: The positioning of the seal must be established in four areas of the front door with positioning aids to be stuck on.

Positioning aids are included with new seals.
