51 23 215 Removing and installing/replacing cable for hood/bonnet locks (to locks)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect Bowden cable at connection point, refer to 51 23 211 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CABLE FOR FRONT ENGINE HOOD LOCKS (TO PASSENGER COMPARTMENT)
Release Bowden cables on hood/bonnet lock on left/right, refer to 51 23 100 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RIGHT ENGINE HOOD LOCK or 51 23 110 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT HOOD/BONNET LOCK

N62 only:

Remove design cover

Feed connecting cable (1) out of cross-member (2) inwards.
