51 11 170 Replacing body molding for left or right bumper

Special tools required:

00 9 321

Unclip body molding (1) with special tool 00 9 321.

Remove body molding (1) towards front.

Replacement:

Version with PDC:

Remove ultrasonic transducer. Refer to 66 20 520 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING AN ULTRASONIC TRANSDUCER AT FRONT (PARK DISTANCE CONTROL) .

Remove holder (1).

Version with Chromeline:

Release catches (2) and remove chrome trim from body molding.
