  1. Obtain radio anti-theft code (if equipped) from vehicle owner and write down preset radio frequencies. To disable air bag system, ensure ignition is off and key is removed. Disconnect and shield negative battery cable.
  2. To activate system, turn ignition switch to ON position. Ensure no one is inside vehicle and connect negative battery cable. Perform system operation check to ensure proper system operation. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
