13 54 060 Removing and installing or replacing throttle body (ASC+T) (M60, M62)

Interrogate fault memory of the ASC+T control unit.

Switch off ignition.

Remove hose (1).

Unfasten hose clip (2).

Remove gaiter.

Disconnect connector.

Disconnect cable.

Installation

Bowden cable must be adjusted to zero backlash.

Unfasten screws (1) to (3).

Remove throttle body.

Installation

Replace gasket (1).
Interrogate fault memory of ASC+T control unit, check fault messages stored in memory, rectify faults and clear the fault memory.
