13 90 500 Replacing tank vent valve (M62): Installation:

Always replace clip and fuel hose.
Read out fault memory of control unit of Digital Motor Electronics (DME). Check stored fault messages. Rectify faults and clear fault memory.

Version 2:

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release hose clamp (2) and detach hose.

Remove tank venting valve (3) from bracket (4).

Open fastener and detach fuel hose (5).

Always replace clip and fuel hose.
Read out fault memory of control unit of Digital Motor Electronics (DME). Check stored fault messages. Rectify faults and clear fault memory.
