12 61 280 Removing and installing/replacing oil pressure switch (M60, M62): Notes

Switch off ignition.

Unfasten oil filter cover to enable engine oil in filter to flow back into the oil pan.

M60:

Disconnect connector.

M62:

Unfasten plug connection (1). (Shown here with oil filter disconnected)

Unscrew and remove switch.

Tightening torque, see 12 61 1AZ in ENGINE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUE .
