(Cylinder head dismantled)

Seal coolant apertures with special tool kit 11 1 470.

NOTE: Special tool 11 1 473 for cylinder bank 1-4
Special tool 11 1 474 for cylinder bank 5-8

Immerse cylinder head in a water bath. Inspection pressure 4.5 bar.

Check cylinder head for escaping air (cracks).
