67 66 510 Removing and installing/replacing lumbar support drive mechanism on front seat, left or right

Adjust front seat to maximum upper setting.

Version With Plastic Holder:

Detach hose on drive unit for lumbar support and disconnect plug connection.

NOTE: Grip hose connection on drive unit for lumbar support with pointed pliers (risk of damage to drive unit for lumbar support).

Release cable ties (1). Unlock catch (2). Turn drive unit for lumbar support (3) downwards and detach towards rear.

Version With Bag:

Remove rear panel on front seat backrest, refer to appropriate REMOVING REAR PANEL ON FRONT SEAT BACKREST for seat type under FRONT SEAT, NORMAL, MECHANICAL .

Release cable ties (1) on drive unit for lumbar support (2) and pull forward a little.

Release cable ties (1).

Detach hose (2) and disconnect plug connection (3).

Pull out drive unit for lumbar support with hose and cable underneath seat.
