64 22 190 Removing and installing/replacing fresh-air grille in rear of car

Depending on the equipment version, a can holder or a finisher strip may be installed. Both versions are removed in the same way.

Press fresh-air grill (1) somewhat upward and unclip can holder (2) from guide groove at top.

Guide in special tool 00 9 300 between center console and can holder and lift out can holder (2).

Push down fresh-air grill (1) by dimension A (approx. 30 to 40 mm) and pull out of recesses of guide groove.

Installation:

Thread fresh-air grill centered into recesses (1) of guide groove and press completely upward. Then install finisher or can holder.
