64 12 750 Removing and installing/replacing auxiliary water pump for latent heat accumulator

Remove left front wheel and left wheel arch trim.

If necessary, remove plastic cover from valve unit

Disconnect hoses (1), unfasten hose clip (2) and pull off hoses.

Pull off connectors.

Slide valve unit upwards and lift forwards to remove.

Installation:

Attach rubber mount of valve unit to the guide and press downwards to remove.

Unfasten hose clip and pull off hose.

Unfasten hose clip and pull off hose.

Loosen screw and pull out auxiliary water pump and hose clip.

Installation:

After completion of repair work, bleed the latent heat accumulator, refer to 64 12 VENTING LATENT HEAT ACCUMULATOR (LWS) .
