Driver's Side:

Remove cover.

CAUTION: Do not bend windshield wiper arm when removing it (risk of breakage!).

Release nut and remove windshield wiper arm.

Installation:

Tightening torque, refer to 61 61 10AZ in GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUES - 5-SERIES .

If necessary, detach adjusting disk (1) with special tool 61 6 060.

Installation:

Screw adjusting disk (1) together with wiper arm onto shaft.

Check contact angle to windshield with special tool 00 9 230.

If necessary, correct contact angle through displacement of wiper arm on adjusting disk.
