51 34 171 Replacing rear left or right door window

Open rear door window completely. Disconnect battery negative lead, refer to 12 00... INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY .

Remove and install window cavity trim on outside of rear door, refer to 51 22 300 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING WINDOW CAVITY COVER STRIP ON REAR DOOR ON LEFT OR RIGHT .

Remove sound insulation on rear door, refer to 51 48... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SOUND INSULATION IN REAR DOOR, LEFT OR RIGHT .

Remove and install cover on fixed door window of inside rear door, refer to 51 34... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING COVER ON FIXED DOOR WINDOW OF REAR DOOR, INSIDE LEFT OR RIGHT .

Release screws (1).

Detach rubber guide (1) and remove trim (2) upwards.

Release screw (1) and lift door window (2) upwards.

Installation:

Fit screw (1) with washer.

Remove window glass by pulling upward at an angle.
