51 16... Replacing left or right outside mirror housing

Remove mirror glass, refer to 51 16 026 REPLACING MIRROR GLASS .

Mirror With Automatic Dip Action:

Tilt mirror forward. Unclip retaining clips and remove cover.

Mirror with automatic dip action:

Fold mirror forward again as far as possible.

Unfasten screws and remove "housing glasses".

Installation:

Check function.

Mirror Without Automatic Dip Action:

Tilt mirror forward. Unclip retaining clips and remove cover.
