51 11 158 Replacing baseplate for licence plate

Unscrew and remove licence plate.

Remove both body moldings, refer to 51 11 170 REPLACING BODY MOLDING FOR LEFT OR RIGHT BUMPER .

If necessary, lever out expanding wedges (1) at top.

Lever out license plate holder at bottom and remove towards front/top.

Lever chrome strip (1) out of clips (2) of body molding and remove.

Catches (1) to (3) of holder (4) must not be damaged.
