51 16 040 Replacing Housing On Left Or Right Door Mirror (M3)

Remove drive for electrically adjustable door mirror. Refer to 67 13 005 REPLACING DRIVE UNIT FOR ELECTRICAL .
Release screws (1) and remove housing support plate (2).
Installation:
Tightening torque, refer to 51 16 9AZ in BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES - 3-SERIES .
Installation:
Threads (1) of housing support plate (2) must not be damaged.
Release screw (1).
Feed housing (2) out of carrier plate (3) and remove.
Installation:
Tightening torque, refer to 51 16 9AZ in BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES - 3-SERIES .
Installation:
Threads (1) and guide (2) on housing (3) must not be damaged.
Check function.
