51 41 018 Replacing Speaker Frame On Front Left Or Right Door Trim Panel (Coupe)

Remove front door trim panel, refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR TRIM PANEL (COUPE, CONVERTIBLE) .

Release screws (1).

Remove speaker (2) with insulation (3).

Detach cover (1).

Installation:

Fit cover (1) with path (2) at top/center on speaker frame.

CAUTION: When removing speaker frame (1), do not under any circumstances damage plastic pins (3).

Release plastic welds (2).

Lever speaker frame (1) out of plastic pins (2) and pull towards rear/top out of door trim panel (3).

Installation:

Install new speaker frame (1).

Push locking washers (3) onto plastic pins (2).
