64 11 225 Replacing Controller For Heater - A/C Fan

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove radio receiver.
Remove right glovebox with housing.

Unclip right footwell channel (1).

Installation:

Make sure right footwell channel (1) is correctly seated in retainer (2).

Unclip right footwell channel (1) and remove in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Make sure right footwell channel (1) is correctly seated in retainer (2).

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release screw (2).

Installation:

Tightening torque = 1.0 +/- 0.3 Nm (64 11 3AZ).

Pull out controller for heater - A/C fan (3) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Make sure controller for heater - A/C system fan (3) is correctly seated in housing of heater - A/C system.
