54 34 029 Replacing Bowden cable for EH convertible top emergency release mechanism

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove convertible top . See 54 34 101 Removing And Installing Complete Convertible Top .
Remove emergency release mechanism from hydraulic unit. See 54 34 005 Removing And Installing/Replacing Hydraulic Unit For Convertible Top Drive .

Release screws and/or drill out rivets.

Disconnect Bowden cable in area A from hydraulic lines (cable ties) and feed out of holder if necessary.

Installation:

Using scan tool, carry out function check .
