54 31 200 Removing and installing/replacing hard top mounting

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release rear side trim panel upper section on B-pillar. See 51 16 235 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PANEL FOR REAR STORAGE BOX.

Release screw.

If necessary, press mounting downwards a little and remove towards front top from main support.

Unclip contact tube and lay to one side.

With contact tube replacement only:

Remove rear storage cover. See 51 16 240 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR STORAGE COMPARTMENT .
Disconnect plug connection.
Disconnect cable
