54 31 000 Adjusting convertible top

Remove main bearing cover trim. Measure gap between inside edge of side panel and main bearing. Ideal dimension is 51-53 mm.

For adjustment work only: remove convertible top. See 54 34 101 Removing And Installing Complete Convertible Top . Release screws (1) and remove shim (2) or place underneath. Shims are one mm thick.

Check ideal adjustment of door window glass after completing adjustment work on convertible top. Initialize power windows.
