61 62 090 Removing and installing/replacing shaft bearing for rear window wiper (Touring)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove rear window wiper arm. See 61 62 030 Removing and installing/replacing wiper arm on rear window
Remove trim on shaft bearing. See 51 24... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM ON SHAFT BEARING FOR REAR WINDOW WIPER

Secure rear window button (2) against falling down. Unscrew nut (1).

Installation:

Tighten nut (1) to specified torque, tightening torque. Refer to GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUE .

Release nut (1) and withdraw shaft bearing (2).

Installation:

Tighten nut (1) to specified torque, tightening torque. Refer to GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUE .
