67 61 515 Replacing drive with gear for actuating slide/tilt sunroof

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove front sunroof cover strip. Refer to 51 44 152 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SUNROOF FINISHER - FRONT .
Remove interior rear-view mirror. Refer to 51 16 060 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING INTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR .
Remove clock. Refer to 62 13 050 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CLOCK .
Remove counter-supports for sun visor on left and right. Refer to 51 16 080 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING SUNVISOR AND LEFT OR RIGHT COUNTER SUPPORT .

NOTE: Secure drive with gear for actuating slide/tilt sunroof (3) against falling out. Release screws (1). Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect. Remove drive with gear for actuating slide/tilt sunroof (3) towards bottom.

Installation:

Insert gear wheel (1) of drive for actuating slide sunroof (2) into associated gear teeth.

Replacement:

Carry out programming/coding. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROGRAMMING/CODING .

Initialize slide/tilt sunroof. Refer to 54 0 ... NOTES ON STEEL AND GLASS SLIDE/TILT SUNROOFS (INITIALIZATION/NORMALIZATION/LEARNING OF CHARACTERISTIC CURVE) .
