61 71 100 Removing and installing/replacing windscreen washer pump

NOTE: Drain fluid reservoir for windscreen washer system.

Turn steering wheel to full right lock.

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Detach front right wheel arch trim in rear area. Refer to 51 71 040 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT WHEEL ARCH LINER .

Release windscreen washer pump from clip (1).

Pull windscreen washer pump out of fluid reservoir for windscreen washer unit.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Detach hoses (2) and remove windscreen washer pump.

Installation:

Replace sealing ring/strainer of windscreen washer pump.

Coat sealing ring of windscreen washer pump with antiseize agent.

Make sure hoses (2) are laid without kinks.
