22 31 001 Replacing rubber mount for gearbox mounting

Special Tools Required:

Remove battery container. Refer to 61 21 100 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BATTERY CONTAINER .

Undo retaining screws (1) holding clutch slave cylinder and

remove clutch slave cylinder (2) from gearbox retaining fixture.

Tightening torque, (24 N.m.).

Fit assembly bridge to vehicle.

Use special tools 00 0 201, 00 0 202, 00 0 205, 00 0 207, 00 0 209 and 11 8 260.

Sufficiently tighten support bridge to take up the weight of the engine and gearbox.

Unscrew gearbox retaining screw (1) at upper bracket and retaining screws (2) at gearbox.

Remove gearbox retaining fixture (3).

Tightening torque, (66 N.m.).

Tightening torque, (38 N.m.).
