11 23 010 Removing and installing or replacing vibration damper

NOTE:

For Special Tool identification, see ENGINE- SPECIAL TOOLS - COOPER (1.6L) R50/W10 .

Special Tools Required: 

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

Remove central bolt of vibration damper with special tools 11 2 150 and 11 8 320.

Insert special tool 11 8 270 and tighten down.

Installation: 

Central bolt of crankshaft belt pulley.

Tightening torque, refer to 11 23 1AZ in ENGINE - TIGHTENING TORQUES- COOPER (1.6L) R50/W10 .

Attach special tool 11 8 310 (three-claw extractor tool) and remove belt pulley.

Remove special tool 11 8 270 and install special tool 11 8 242.

Reinstall belt pulley with special tool 11 8 242 and 11 8 241.

Assemble engine.
