11 43 000 Removing and installing/replacing oil dipstick guide tube

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove intake manifold. Refer to 11 61 051 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INTAKE MANIFOLD .

Remove retaining screw (1) of guide tube.

Remove guide tube (2).

Installation:

Replace seal (1).

Coat sealing ring (1) with Syntheso Glep 1.

Insert guide tube (2) in cylinder head.

Tightening torque, 11 61 1AZ in ENGINE - TIGHTENING TORQUES- COOPER (1.6L) R50/W10 .

Make sure guide tube and gasket are correctly seated.

Assemble engine.
