61 61 010 Checking/adjusting approach angle of windshield wiper arms on front windscreen

At low vehicle speed and during intermittent operation, a precisely adjusted contact angle for the windshield wiper arms will increase wiping quality.

Place special tool 00 9 230 on windshield next to turning point of wiper blade.

Passenger side:

If the contact angle is faulty, grip windshield wiper arm with special tool 00 9 261 at joint and turn with special tool 00 9 262 into correct position.

Driver's side:

The contact angle of the wiper arm is adjusted by moving the wiper arm on the dial (1).

To remove dial: use special tool 61 6 000 or 61 0 060.
