52 13 050 Replacing left or right lumbar supports on front seat (normal/ manual)

Remove back-rest,

refer to 52 13 405 REPLACING BACKREST COVER FOR FRONT SEAT (NORMAL/MANUAL), LEFT OR RIGHT

Disconnect bottom of cover from clips (1).

Installation:

Fold down bottom of seat cover and insert clip.

Remove hose (1) (Blue = small cushion) and hose (2) (Red = large cushion) from control unit (3).

NOTE: If necessary, gently heat hose when firmly seated. Housing (valve block) must not be unclipped (leaks). Should be unclipped: unfasten screw and clip together the housing.

Installation:

Connection hoses must be routed without sharp bends.

Disconnect top of lumbar support cushion (1) from spring wire (2). Press support (3) downwards and remove lumbar cushion (1).

Installation:

Attach bottom left/right lumbar supports (1) with recesses (2) above the springs so that it is sealed with the spring mat (3) with the connection hoses routed without sharp bends.
