52 13 040 Removing and installing / replacing outer cover on left or right front seat back-rest (normal / manual)

Unfasten seatbelt screw.

Tightening torque. Refer to SEATS - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Unfasten clips (1) (cut off or knock off clip head). Unscrew bolt (2). Pull the lever forward to remove.

Loosen rear clips.

Lift out the rear plate and remove it over the operating levers.

Model with lumbar supports:

Lift the cable out of the retainer (1) if necessary.

If necessary press detents (2) down and press upwards to remove the switch.
