52 17 050 Replacing lumbar support cushion on left or right front seat (comfort)

Remove back-rest,

refer to 52 17 405 REPLACING BACK-REST COVER FOR FRONT SEAT (COMFORT) ON LEFT OR RIGHT SIDES

Remove bottom of cover from claw-type cover clips.

Remove hose (1) (red - large cushion) and hose (2) (blue - small cushion) from control unit (3).

NOTE: If seat fixed in position, slightly heat hose, housing (valve block) must not be unclipped (leaks). If it is unclipped, release screws and clip together housing.

Disconnect top of lumbar support cushion (1) from spring wire (2). Press support (3) downwards and remove lumbar support cushion.

Installation:

Attach lumbar support cushion (1) at bottom left/ right with recesses (2) above the spring.
