Removal & Installation: Stabilizer: Installation

CAUTION:
If guide joint has been driven out with special tool, it must be replaced.
- Install stabilizer.
- Install guide joint. See GUIDE JOINT .
- Ensure rubber mount, retaining bracket and stabilizer bar are free of grease. If necessary, replace rubber mount.
- Install pressure rod. Pressure rods are different and can be identified by the number on the tube. Odd number is left and even number is right. Replace self-locking nut and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install reinforcement plate. Replace self-locking nuts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install underbody protection.
- Install wheels and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
