If there are no cross-references to tightening torques in the repair instructions, the torque values in this article must be observed. There are different screws/nuts with surface color (surface coating) - yellow (ZN) and silver (ZNS).

The values specified are not applicable when using a different surface or lubricant condition on the thread, or if the height of the nut differs. Values are also not applicable to necked-down bolts, self-tapping screw connections or to connections between parts made of different materials.
