51 42 300 Removing And Installing/Replacing Chest Strip (Chrome Strip) On Left Or Right Rear Door (Without Roller Sun Blind)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove rear door trim panel. Refer to 51 42 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .

Installation:

Observe distance of chest strip at front (1) and rear (2) to trim (3) of locking rod:

A = 70 mm.

B = 110 mm.

Pull rear chest strip (1) in direction of arrow off door trim (2).
