51 42 030 Removing And Installing/Replacing Decorative Strip (Light Strip) On Left Or Right Door Trim (Rear)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove rear door trim panel. Refer to 51 42 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .

Pull back foam section (1) over plug (2).

Unlock plug (2) and detach from light strip (3).

Release screws (4).

Installation:

Tightening torque, refer to 51 42 2AZ in BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Lever out decorative strip (1) at rear and front from door trim (2).

Installation:

Slide light strip (3) in decorative strip (4) fully towards rear.

Following parts of decorative strip (4) must not be damaged:

Guides.
Screw connections.
Light strip.
