51 42 018 Replacing Speaker Frame On Rear Left Or Right Door Trim Panel

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove rear door trim panel. Refer to 51 42 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .

Detach plastic welded joints (1) and remove speaker frame (2).

Installation:

Foam ring (3) must not be damaged.

NOTE: Foam ring (3) is only fitted with Top hi-fi system. Trim is closed without Top hi-fi system.

Installation:

Guide (1) on plastic pin (2) is at top.

Shorten all plastic pins (2) down to measurement (A).

Install speaker frame (3) and mount with repair screws.

Tightening torque, refer to 51 42 3AZ in BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

A = 4.6_{-0.2 ace;} mm.
