51 21 225 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Inside Door Opener In Left Or Right Front Door

NOTE:

Special Tools Required: 

Press on point (A) and tilt cover.

Remove cover and release screw underneath.

Tightening torque, refer to 51 21 6AZ in BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Raise edge of door opener with cleaning wedge 00 9 323 slightly to be able then to lever out door opener with fishbone 00 9 321.

Carefully feed door opener forwards and downwards out of door trim.

IMPORTANT: If the door opener is pulled out too vigorously, there is a risk of damage to the door opener and the Bowden cable.

Unlock holder for Bowden cable (1) and remove door opener (2).

Installation: 

Place door opener (1) at front on holder for Bowden cable (2) and clip into place.

Lever of door opener must be held "closed" in the process.
