34 41 682 Initializing Parking Brake (After Mechanical Unlocking Of Actuating Unit)

IMPORTANT:
With mechanical emergency release of actuating unit, max. torque at end stop 5 N.m. Vehicle condition before initialization:
- Vehicle at standstill.
- Ignition turned on.
Touch parking brake button three times at intervals of 5 seconds.
1st touch operation:
Release position is initialized.
2nd touch operation:
Tightening of actuating unit.
Braking position is initialized.
Parking brake indicator lamp lights up red.
3rd touch operation:
Release of actuating unit.
Parking brake is ready for operation again.
Parking brake indicator lamp goes out.
