51 24 126 Removing and installing/replacing left or right striker for rear lid lower section

Open trunk lid.

Unlock trim (1) towards front and remove towards inside.

Installation:

Guides (1) and catches (2) of trim (3) must not be damaged.

Release screws (1) and remove striker (2).

Installation:

Adjust rear lid latch (striker) for lower section of rear lid lock.

CAUTION: Closing bracket and rear lid lock must not be greased.
