Swivel Bearing: Installation

  1. Installation is reverse of removal.
  2. When installing tie rod, be sure tapered spigot and bore are both free of grease. Replace self-locking nut and use washer (1). See Figure .
  3. Tighten nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Install wheel bearing. See WHEEL BEARING  .
