Front Suspension Assembly: Installation

- To install, reverse removal procedure. Replace all self-locking nuts. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Ensure all clips, holders, and hydraulic lines are attached. Replace sealing rings (D). See Fig 1 .
- Refill hydraulic fluid.
- Ensure match marks on steering gear and universal joint are aligned. See Figure .
- Clamping screw must be located in groove of steering shaft. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Check and adjust front wheel alignment. See appropriate SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
- Bleed power steering system. See appropriate POWER RACK & PINION article.
