Axle Shafts: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. Use appropriate puller to pull axle shaft into hub. Use NEW axle shaft collar nut. After tightening collar nut to specification, secure by peening at flat areas on axle shaft. See Fig 1 .
Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
