16 12 010 Removing and installing/replacing carbon canister (Z3)

Unlock and disconnect plug connection (1) of vent line to expansion tank.

Open hose clip (6) and pull off scavenging line (2). Detach evaporation line (3) from carbon canister (4).

Release screws (5). Lift carbon canister (4) out of metal bracket.

Installation:

Make sure plug connection (1) engages properly.

Replace hose clip (6).

Tightening torque, refer to 16 12 7AZ in FUEL TRANSFER SENSOR .
