With Terminal R On Or Terminal 15 On:

Press the reset button in the instrument cluster for 10 seconds to reset the test functions. The test functions can be scrolled through with the reset button in the instrument cluster.

An alternative means of accessing the test functions is: hold down the reset button in the instrument cluster and simultaneously switch terminal R ON.

NOTE: Disabling and enabling the test functions  Only the first two test functions are freely accessible. The test functions are disabled from No. 3 onward. They can be enabled only in test function No. 19. The test functions are enabled by: entering the sum obtained by adding together the last five digits of the VIN.
