64 51 525 Removing and installing or replacing expansion valve

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Feed out rubber grommet (1).

Installation: 

Make sure rubber grommet (1) is correctly seated.

Unscrew nut (2).

Installation: 

Tightening torque, refer to 64 53 7AZ in HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING - TIGHTENING TORQUES - 645CI .

Detach refrigerant lines (3) and (4) in direction of arrow.

Installation 

Replace sealing rings.

Release screws (1).

Installation: 

Tightening torque, refer to 64 53 9AZ in HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING - TIGHTENING TORQUES - 645CI .

Detach expansion valve (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

Replace sealing rings.

Make sure soundproofing (3) is correctly seated.
