11 28 010 Replacing Alternator Drive Belt (N55)

Special Tools Required:

11 0 390 .

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove FAN COWL with Electric Fan

Drive Belt Characteristic F07

NOTE: Mark The Direction of Travel of The Drive Belt If It Is To Be Reused.

Turn Belt Tensioner (2) In Direction of Arrow Until Belt Tensioner Bore Hole Is Flush On Housing.

Hold Belt Tensioner (2) Under Tension.

Secure Special Tool 11 0 390 .

Remove Drive Belt (3).

Assemble Engine.

Installation Note:

Check Drive Belt for Correct Installation Position and, If Reusing, Observe Direction of Travel. Risk of Damage .
